Golf Makes Me Happy

I made this on Monday, August 15th.  Something I do each year is donate an item to the Rhea Medical Healthcare Foundation Golf Tournament.  They use it as an auction or prize.  The pattern is by Steve Good.  I used 1/2" Cherry for the upright and 1" Maple for the base.  The Maple was a throw away from the local Lazy Boy manufacturer.  I used FD UR #3 and FD Polar #5.  The finish is one coat of 50% BLO and two coats of spray Shellac.  It is approximately 9" high ad 10" long.  Comments welcome.

Denny you did a great job cutting this and also a great deed. Helping others is always good. I also like you telling how you made it. It helps dummies like me learn.
