Denny Knappen
I made this on Monday, August 15th. Something I do each year is donate an item to the Rhea Medical Healthcare Foundation Golf Tournament. They use it as an auction or prize. The pattern is by Steve Good. I used 1/2" Cherry for the upright and 1" Maple for the base. The Maple was a throw away from the local Lazy Boy manufacturer. I used FD UR #3 and FD Polar #5. The finish is one coat of 50% BLO and two coats of spray Shellac. It is approximately 9" high ad 10" long. Comments welcome. amazingkevin, hawkeye10, country girl and 1 other

meflick
Looks great Denny and I am sure the foundation will enjoy getting it and having it as either a prize or an auction item. Whoever ends up with it will love displaying it. Thanks for sharing.

DWSUDEKUM
Nicely done Denny. Is the hole big enough to place a golfball into? Thanks for sharing this with us. DW
Denny Knappen
I didn't try, DW, but it looks like it can fit. May have to give it a try.

Lucky2
Nicely done Denny, I'm sure they appreciate the donation. Will you be attending the auction, I would like to know how much it auctions off for? Len
