Nicely done Kevin.  Those came out great.  Thanks for sharing them with us.

This is just a thought.  This is a niche market my friend and although small currently has indications of being able to take off.  Consider the names that you have made and given away and the reaction to them.  It might be time to put a price on them.  It does not have to be much BUT it should cover your material costs at least.  As a scroller you will seldom get what your time is worth.  I have found that 2x material cost works well for a starting point.  For instance if you make a name from bb ply and that piece came from a larger piece that you purchased for $12 USD and you can get say 6 names from it. So the wood used for the name is $2.  Now you have to take in the cost for the glue, paint and glitter.  Let us just arbitrary use $ .50 USD for that cost so you have a total of $ 2.50 USD material cost.  If you use the 2x formula that would give you a starting price of $5 USD.  This would be the minimum starting price.  At that level of pricing your making of the names pays for itself for materials used but little else.  Now let us bump the price up to just $ 7 USD.  Now you are making $2 profit for each name and at the rate you make them that could be some significant pocket money, food money or whatever money.  At $10 you are making $5 profit, ETC.  Now that folks are associating you with your works it might just be time to capitalize on this.  But hey this is only a thought :)

I do names Kevin for people at work and my charge is £10 each I know there easy and quick to cut but you should get paid for the wood and the effort I think, tell them anymore and you have to pay  for the wood and paint now you have them hooked.  Roly

Blades, rattle cans and ink & copy paper i have to buy ,i get loads of wood free, good stuff to.
