Paper cutting to scrolling

That is a very nice design and beautifully cut and photographed. I have done lots of test cutting for SSWWC based on Allison Tanner's paper cuts. Paper cut designs are a great resource for fretwork.

It was great that you got the artists permission! Did you stack cut? if so it would be nice if you sent her a cut piece.

What blade did you use?

Beautiful work - on both the paper cutting and the scroll saw cutting.  Thanks for sharing.  As a paper cutter with a die cut machine  previously (and still) I always thought there was a lot of overlap on paper patterns and scroll saw patterns and their ability to "cross over" to the other medium.

Fantastic job on that.  That is a work of art.  What blade did you use?  Thanks for sharing this with us.

I stack cut four 1/8th inch BB plywood.  The wife is currently oiling three of them and painting the fourth.  Not sure whether to frame or to just hang yet.  Sent Jo a pic of project yesterday and here is her response: " Oh my gosh Janice!! He certainly did!! Amazing! Please tell him I love it and am very impressed!! "  Once we are out of a threat a mail strike, will send her one.

Thanks to all for the great comments :) :)
