A.K.--the usual Very Nice Work--  they are taking advantage of you!

Common sense would expect some other form of compensation at least if not monetary!  Free coffee??? Donuts! A little token of appreciation of some kind would only be RIGHT!

Kevin, if the manager is asking you to cut specific names for him/her, then you have to let them know up front how much it will cost. Sure it's nice being a nice guy, but, obvisously you're the only nice guy in the group. Otherwise, these people wouldn't be taking advantage of you, by not paying for your work. I've stated this a few times now in an attempt to help you out, but,it doesn't seem to be sinking in. So, I'll try to stop harping on what you should or shouldn't do, it's just sad to see you always ending up with the short end of the stick.

I started out making desktop names for everyone in my office.  I was buying wood at Home Depot from their "culled lumber" pile.  I was offered, and turned down, compensation for these projects  They were my hobby.  However, a few weeks later, an envelope with "Ward's

Scrollsaw Blade Fund" on the front of it suddenly appeared on the corner of my desk with $50.00 in various denominations within.  I have done many projects for the office and every now and then, that envelope reappears.

Kevin, if people truly appreciate what your are doing for them, they would show it in some fashion.  I know you are not looking to make money on your projects, but after a while, it looks like you are being taken advantage of.

Just my two cents..

Yes that's true ,but all of the sudden God put in my path the "Babe Ruth locker 3" madallion worth more than all the thousands an thousands  of names i've made since 2009.I believe! I'm putting all my irons in the fire to get the top dollar for it as soon as i can .
