Bandito
Here is a rose that I cut using 1/8" BB. The pattern was from another scroll sawing forum by Wade Smith (Wade's Woodwerks). I really liked the way it looked and how simple it is. lawson56, fastfreddy, meflick and 3 others

Vott1
The rose looks great. Nice cutting. I'd vote for satin finish, but I usually lean towards satin Bandito

Bandito
I was thinking about trying to use some pink paper for the petals and green for the leaves and stem.

Scrappile
Simple and beautiful. My vote: green leaves and stem, deep red rose, and satin finish. Great job cutting it and it will be very pretty whatever colors you choose. Edited August 25, 2016 by Scrappile Bandito

Bandito
I looked at a lot of patterns and chose this one, the rest of them were to busy for me. I guess sometimes less is more. Or in this case it was for me. Thanks again for looking!
meflick
Beautiful in the cutting and in its simplicity. Thanks for sharing. I will have to see if I can find a link to Wade's files perhaps. Bandito
This one is going to be sent to my wife's aunt in Oregon. I gave her one of the Wyoming bucking horse and rider magnets that I make, and was showing her some of other things that I've cut. When she asked if I had ever done a Rose. After looking around for a pattern this is the one that I liked the most. She doesn't know that she is getting it. Hope she likes it. Old Joe
I have been looking for an understated rose. I hope that you won't mind, but I'm going to use that pattern on my next vase. Bandito
