Both are very nice.  The inlay material looks like it could be Corian.  Certainly Corian would work and think of all the possible colors one could use.

I used Inlace. I angle cut the figure and set it in about 3/16 .Glued the figure is place and filled in with the liquid Inlace.Sanded both sides and sealed it with Lacquer.I watched Steve Good use Inlace in one of his Videos.He used it on a key chain.That is where you need to use a real mask with a good filter when sanding that Inlace.

My first Rosewood and also Inlace projects.The figure on the Rosewood Cross is a Cutoff from another cross

 

 

So your the talented one,Very nice effect,great selling point.Load them up for the craft show and clean house!

No Kevin I am going to Rome with my crosses and sell them at the gates of the Vatican and buy a little Fiat with all of the profits.
