MIni Drill Bits

I'm always looking for mini drill bits for pilot holes .

Today I was at Menards and I found a 25 pc. Set 0.5-3.0mm for under $4.00 . Just thought I would share that with you all.

Got my last pack of drills from Harbor freight size 1//16  (.062) pack of 6 for $2.95 That's not as good as yoou but Menards every where, We just got one here but I haven't looked for drills yet.

Sloane's is a good place.

Take a look at sloans as they sell a much better bit than most, and you can go as small as is practical.  I'm drilling metal, so my bits have to be good.  I tried several other brands and most just wouldn't cut it.  I use the #72, but my blades are also very very small.  You can go up from there.

If you know what size of bit you want, you can order them from Mike's or The Wooden Teddy-Bear.

I bought my small bits from Mike,s workshop. He also sells the small chuck to hold the bits.
