Hi all,

I have recently picked up a Clarke 16" scroll saw and have done a few projects in MDF,so far I am really enjoying it and am looking forward to the weekend so I can get some more work done!

I am from Derby in the UK and wood seems a bit more difficult to get on here, but have found some nice looking birch ply on Ebay and will be ordering some on Friday.

Am looking to get the pinless blade adapters onto my saw for some finer work and have a hundred ideas flying through my head.

Any tips or tricks would be most welcome!

I have attached my first project which was pokemon silhouettes.

Thanks,

Warren

Welcome from across the Pond.  I am in the great state of TN here in the USA.  Several others here from my state but we seem to be spread far and wide even then.  Like you I am a newbie and have only been on here for a short period of time, however, like Larry noted - a great group of people here willing to help and answer people's questions.  Really like your first project - doing inlay looks like.  If so, looks like you did a great job.  I have yet to try that.  thanks for sharing.
