Arjon Fly Rod

I realize this isn't scrollsaw related but being a lot of you are also fishermen one of you may know more of the Arjon fly fishing rods than I do. My wife purchased this Arjon bamboo fly rod signed Frell #777-7' and is a medium. All I know Arjon was sold to Abu somewhere in the late sixties. This fly rod is in excellent condition that my wife paid $6.00 for. Any information would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Ron I have done a lot of fishing in my life but not very much with a flyrod. I do know one thing I think your wife knows a bargain when she sees one. Does she buy your woodworking tools also??

I love fishing, never got into the fly end of it. I do fish tournaments but for bass. I'll just say congrats and hope it's right ?

Ron, did you do a Google search on it? I was given two valuable fishing rods a couple of months ago, after my dad had passed. I wanted to know more about the rods, so, I did a Google search and found lots of info on the rods. I even learned what year they were made, and I learned what they might be worth. What they're worth doesn't matter to me, these rods were my grandfathers, and I have no intentions of ever selling or getting rid of them. Good luck with your search.
