Vott1
So, I have a whole case of teakwood boards 3" by 9" that were given to me, and I've been trying to think up things to do with them other than ornaments. This was my first idea, but I'm open to suggestions. lawson56 and amazingkevin
Lucky2
Well Kip, I think projects like this one is a good use for the teak. It won't go bad, so keep it for a special project. You could always build boxes with it, they seem to sell for others. Len Vott1

Glue and compress together for bigger pieces .I just glued some planned down to 1/8 cedar and glued and are very strong too.then you can use it as you do all your other scroll work ,copy paper size. spirithorse
They would make beautiful balancing wine bottle holders. You could also make some toy cars that would be really appealing to the eye. Good luck and God Bless! Spirithorse Vott1

Vott1
Thanks Kevin, I am curious to see how spirals will do with this stuff. The boards are tapered on the edges, but a flush trim bit should solve that, so I probably will give this a shot
125 CSL
Glue a few pieces together then make a trivet. Save some for segmented work. Vott1
