55" Snowman Holding Personalized Snowflake

This is what I designed this morning.......55" tall snowman holding a personalized snowflake........complete with white lights.......also has a burlap bow (that I tied), main body, arms, and feet is cut from a 1x6, face parts are 1/4" luan, snowflake is 1/2" sanded plywood, hand painted most, spray painted snowflake & face parts, I also hot glued some pine foliage around bottom and on brim of hat........sorry about this early holiday item.......but I hope it inspires someone.......comments as always....Thank You

Oh, he is so stinking cute!  I agree, where do you come up with these ideas.  Never too early for Christmas projects.  I really like him and will have to add him to the "try to make" list.  Do you have a pattern or details on the "how to" that you can share?  If not, I will try to work from your photo if I can give it a whirl.  I had an Aunt on my husband's side of the family who used to make beautiful projects like this.  Many of her's were smaller but were "display" items that she handprinted.  It was her work that first got me interested in getting a scroll saw all those many years ago (more than 15) but took me all these years to get back to learning it.  I hope to use it to make this type of projects as well as it reminds me of her and her beautiful work.  I like the "painted" look of them too.  So much to do with my saw and so little time!  ;)

No pattern.......just went off pictures.......designed it in Inkscape.......made templates for tracing.......and wa la
