amazingkevin Posted September 4, 2016 Report Posted September 4, 2016 Here i thought i whipped this out pretty goo only to realize i'm only half way there.I use 7 big planks of aromatic cedar1.5" thick x16"x8".I'm learning to keep the wood standing straight in the table saw with the blade up as high as it will go.I set it for a 1/2" cut an it comes out almost 1/8" like i want so less time through the planner.Things were going to good and i forgot to keep track how much i cut .Now i have way too many pieces. hawkeye10, neptun, bobscroll and 1 other 4 Quote

heppnerguy Posted September 8, 2016 Report Posted September 8, 2016 Kevin, The warnings are right..... be really careful with the table saw, they do not care who's finger they take off or who they throw wood back at, (at the speed of light ), A chuck of wood coming at you from the table saw can break a rib or put out an eye, At least wear protection when you are on teh table saw, please Dick heppnerguy Quote
