I saw this one on Steve Good's sight this morning and I had to run cut one, as it is a car we owned when we were married I simplified the pattern some because I did not want the name on the plaque nor the base. I still need to put the finish on it

Nice work. DICK!

Make a series-- of the fifties/sixties/ seventies  classic and muscle cars and sell them as sets.

You could do a 57-67 & 77 Chevys, Fords and even the Mopars too!

Rancheros-- El Camenos , and the GREAT T-Birds!

A few BIG FINNED Cadillacs also to have for the aircraft carrier fans!

These simple patterns are fun to cut because they only take a little while to do. I cut this one before church this morning just because I liked the memories it gave me. I love Steve Good's patterns because they don't take much skill and he does such a nice job with his patterns and helps so many others get interested in scrolling. Thanks for the nice comments, but this is just a quick cut and enjoy piece. I believe it is one of the best 57 Chevy pattern I have seen. I really like the way Steve got the details without over doing its

Nice one, I bet you wish you still had it.  When I got married, I had a Sunbeam Tiger, my wife had a big '64 Ford Galaxy.  Funny thing happened,  Patti started driving a Sunbeam Tiger, I started driving a "64 Ford Galaxy....  Don't know how that happened.

Yes, Paul, we were indeed the lucky ones to live in that era. You had to be there to understand why. Looking back on it without having lived in It,simply does not give one the understanding of wh it was such a great time..it will be forever imbedded in our minds, that I am sure of

Ralph,

If it was all about selling these, I think making them and taking them to car shows would be a great money maker,

But I made this primarily for myself to enjoy. That is a good idea though. Perhaps you should jump on it yourself and make some easy pocket money. A fun idea, for sure.

That is a great job on a cool car. Wouldn't you love to have one now? dave

Dave, I would indeed. The fun thing was I got mine for a trade of my previous purchase of a $550 motorcycle along with an additional $200. The bike was a 58 Ariel scrambler. The year was 1961 when I made the trade. I thought it a really good deal at the time and still do to this day

Great job Dick. That was always my dream car. I guess you can't have everything.

Dick, you didn't waste any time cutting this one out, Steve just posted it yesterday didn't he? It looks great, and I agree with you, just the right amount of detail.

Len

I thought the same thing about the details in the pattern. In fact My first thought when I saw it was that it was one of the best car patterns I have seen.
