I really enjoyed constructing these houses. 

Ok, so I cut them...

How many???????   well I ended up cutting 42 total.

Not all are finished yet. The great part is they are accupied as soon as I get them ready.

 

 

Some are Pine, Spanish Cedar and Ash.

The Birds are much the same. 

Cut with (mostly) Precision Ground  5R-PGT .044 x .018   12-9rev

Dan, I will brush a couple coats of lacquer on.

Actually, the one with birds have two coats of brushed lacquer and a final coat with the rattle can.

Roly, I actually put them together. All material from a craft store.

* Decorative chain 

* Two different sizes of split rings. 

                I took the larger split ring and used pliars to bend out a 1/4" inch to stick down into the top of the bird house.

                Drilled an undersize hole for the wire to fit and glued it in with super glue.
