Iguanadon
HI Stella, those patterns are by Harvey Byler and he only sells them through Wooden Teddy Bear online and unfortunately they only distribute them by mailing a hard copy. Thankyou for your reply, I am just starting scroll sawing and have a few basic patterns but I did like the look of these puzzles, I have also read that it is a skill to get the joint straight or the piece wont fit together properly, I also like the coin banks I have seen too which I think were on scroller which have amazing patterns, I do draw my own for my papercraft work in different programmes I have so may give this a go when I get some spare time, so many projects .. so little time! I found Mr. Byler's patterns in May and absolutely fell in love with them and that's all I do now, focusing on the dogs but also doing the sea animals and what I call the zoo animals. You can see my work here... www.facebook.com/woodcraftbyscott As long as your blade is at a perfect 90 degree angle with your table, the puzzle pieces will slide together well. However, if you're using a dense or hard wood, you have to be careful about putting pressure on the blade as you're feeding the wood in order to avoid flexing the blade which could cause issues. As you practice, you'll get the feel for it.

Birchbark
Welcome to the forum Stella. I don't know if these patterns are shipped or downloaded. Maybe you've already seen these, IDK. But might be worth a look. Lots of dogs. http://www.scrollsawgoodies.com/shop/page/2/ Russell oldhudson

orangeman
There is a book by Jim Sweat called "Woodimals". Available from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Woodimals-Creative-Puzzles-ScrollSaw-Woodworking/dp/156523748X I did a few of the woodimal patterns but they didn't sell well. Have since designed a few dog puzzles of my own. check them out at www.pickenspuzzles.com

Debi Shipman
Travis's patterns are all "instant downloads." "All the patterns sold by Scroll Saw Goodies are instant downloads. After your purchase has been made, you’ll be redirected back to Scroll Saw Goodies where you can download your purchases. An email will also be sent which also includes links to your pattern. The links are good for 7 days and for 7 downloads. If you lost a pattern you previously purchased, contact me and I’ll send you a copy via email. Patterns are in PDF format and require Acrobat Reader (standard on most computers) to view and print from your home computer." http://www.scrollsawgoodies.com/shop/page/2/ Edited September 18, 2016 by debinoz
