Scrappile
In 2013 Daniel Hart posted a pattern of a Red Hawk he had taken a picture of. He also posted a beautifuled scroll picture he did with the pattern. I have always wanted to do the pattern but was waiting for the right piece of wood. I came across the piece of wood a couple weeks ago when I moved a stack of wood I had. This piece just fell out. Almost went to the burn pile with the other wood. Here is my attempt at Dan's pattern. Hope I didn't butcher it too bad. What a tough piece to cut. Red Wood burl, some spots so soft they turn to powder when cut some so hard I didn't think I would get the little blade through it. Thank you Dan for the awesome pattern. Dan, vykus, Fish and 4 others

Scrappile
Thank you all for you comments. Beautiful wood, but it challenged me. I right after I started I decided to paint the back with thinned epoxy to help hold it together. It seemed to really help. That's a great cut Paul. Is the pattern in the library ? I am sure it is or was in the library. I downloaded in 2013. If it is not there maybe Dan will put it in the library. I know he had to put the picture he did of it back in his library. It was missing. Edited September 21, 2016 by Scrappile

My desktop PC crashed so I can't get to my patterns. When I get it repaired I'll post the pattern.
