I got the wheel round......I made a template with Inkscape......printed it out......glued it to some 1/4" luan......cut it out.......it is 26.375" wide.....then placed it on my layers (centered) then drew my lines, then cut each individual piece on the scroll saw, that takes about an hour....... next I will round over the edges on the router table.......then I have to cut 7 more handles.....pleased so far.....not sure on the center hub yet.......

Dan, your making great headway on this project, it sure looks like it would be tedious work though. Will you be doing it all with the scrollsaw, or will you be turning the center hub on a lathe?

Things go better if you do everything based on a single center point in a scrap piece of plywood, like I suggested. I hope you can keep it round and the hub centered well doing it this way. It never worked well this way for me. It was never perfectly round when I finished. I hope you can prove that it can be done this way.
