Rockytime Posted September 29, 2016 Report Posted September 29, 2016 FD stands for Flying Dutchman scroll blades. Your web site is really interesting. Quote
hawkeye10 Posted September 29, 2016 Report Posted September 29, 2016 I agree your site is great. Wish I was good enough to cut one of your patterns. Quote
orangeman Posted September 29, 2016 Report Posted September 29, 2016 You would certainly NOT want to use a FD #9 blade on your patterns!!!!!!!! Impressive teelicht patterns. The final product would involve so much work I wouldn't sell them for anything less than $100USD. But who would pay? bb amazingkevin 1 Quote
WayneMahler Posted September 30, 2016 Report Posted September 30, 2016 Nice site Helmut. FD is just short for Flying Dutchman Blades. The #9 you referred to is for cutting thicker wood. I have cut 2 of the schwibbogens and they sell great and quick. I don't think most people in the U.S.A. know what they are till I tell them about them. Like orangeman stated, they are expensive and a lot of work, but well worth it. Quote
amazingkevin Posted September 30, 2016 Report Posted September 30, 2016 They seem beyond my skill level Quote
