Saddlenow
Started scrolling on the edge of the Rocky Mountains last September. Had done some wood carving for 30 years, but decided to try a power hobby. Lived in Oklahoma all my life till retirement, then found that "retirement is not all it is cracked up to be................it's better, much better. Have the love of my life for my wife, 3 kids, 7 grandkids, and love them all. they like scrolling almost better than me...welll, they like to receive the bi-planes, jewlery boxes, and stuff. I send my compliments to Travis who has started me on learning inkscape...soon to take on gimp. Thanks. Blessings, Richard

Travis
Hi Richard. Welcome to the Village. We're glad you found us. Sounds like you're making the most of your retirement. When you get a chance, you should set up a User Gallery and show off a little. You can find a [tut]tutorial here[/tut] on how to set one up. Its a lot of fun seeing what others are working on. I'm glad you liked the Inkscape class. I think you'll get a huge kick out of the GIMP class too. Anyway, jump in and have some fun!
