I have your pattern printed out in red, laying right in front of me for days now on the laptop screen.I transfer the laptop veiw to a larger pc screen.Wish i had nice wood to do it in instead of plywood

Thanks Melanie. I have been using a fret saw for less than a year myself and never even touched one before that but I put my heart into and just go for broke... (which is sometimes how things end up)    Whenever you feel confident give it a shot!

I have to agree with you Kevin, it would look awesome in solid wood but not such a simple matter with a hand saw. The thickest I've ever cut is 7/16 inch and that was pretty tough to cut.

 

Still some time before Christmas - you might come across a nice piece in time
