LarryEA
"J&S" Bird Houses. Most Unusual! These works of art bird houses are constructed from the wood 'SLAG' that is usually discarded after cutting Diana Thompson's mini bird houses featured in CWWC magazine. Some scrollers use scrap to cut Diana's mini bird houses... and I use the scrap that is cut from the mini bird houses to make little Birdhouses. The idea for these houses came from my wife Susan. While prepairing for a fire in the wood stove, Susan saw the scrap from the Mini Houses and decided they could be 'HOUSES' also. She sorted the bird house slag into pairs for me to glue, sand and finish. I have 10 assembled and ready for a final coat. Do you recognize the Parents of these houses? I begged them to face the camera... Please pose for me I asked... The more I tried the worse they acted. meflick
Great eye your wife has there Larry. If they sell good you can pass those funds on to her, since she's the one that saved you from burning it. I like the look of them, different and unique looking but very cute and great for those who are not "traditionalist". Look forward to hearing how they do at the show for you.
