Phantom Scroller
Made this table top today with edges thanks to the idea from JimErn and cut a few things to test it out and it worked a treat. DWSUDEKUM
Nice Roly. Love the cuts, an inside door makes a good table as well. DW Phantom Scroller
Lucky2
Roly, the tray look s good, now that you've made it. A nice place to place a magnet to hold used blades, is close to the corner by the drill in your picture. I placed a magnet on my tray, and when I have a blade that I might want to reuse I lay it on the magnet. It saves me from always losing blades that I want to reuse, and it saves me a lot of looking for those blades. Len

Len Funny you should say that Len you can't see it but the arm for my light/magnifier lamp above the saw has a magnetic strip attached and I stick my used blades for switching sizes to it for easy access. Great minds as they say. Roly

hawkeye10
Roly the table looks like a regular table. So what did you do? You must consider I am blind in one eye and can't see out of the other. Phantom Scroller

Phantom Scroller
Hi Don. It's been changed into a tray extending out over the knees to catch all the bits and dust from landing on you legs and feet and has a raised edge all around which stops any items vibrating onto the floor. Hope that explains it for you. Roly Edited October 20, 2016 by Phantom Scroller
