Thank you for your kind replies to my introduction to your forum. How happy I am that I joined because after looking over the forums and reading all the comments about various machines I am having a change of mind as to which one I will choose. I was looking at the Hegner Multicut 1 originally but I seem to be getting draw towards the Excalibur EX 16.. I like the idea of the quick blade exchange and the way the machine tilts while leaving the table flat. Saying that I don't know the first thing about scrolling as yet. But from all the things I've read today I'm sure it will be a good choice. It seems they have gone through a rebranding here in England through a company called Axminster but I'm assured they are the same machine. If anyone in England has bought from this company please will you let me know how you went on.

Kind Regards Peter.

Peter, I think you will be pleased with your decision, the EX saws are outstanding saws to work with. The tilting head was a deciding factor for me, I do a fair amount of bevel cutting. It's so much easier to cut bevels with the tilting head, then it is to cut bevels with a tilting table.
