Hi Donna:

You have just made my "that's insane" list

It's not a bad thing

A few scrollers here at the Village are on it too

If this doesn't win, I'd like to see what beat it

Well done and Thanks for posting this

P.S.

Great Video

How long does it take you to make minute rice???

Cool.  Nice video.  Very nice cutting, and like everyone else, quick huh?  :)   Sorry i couldn't get you any more detail on that.  Wasn't much more i could do with it.  How big is the entire piece?  Looks pretty big.

Thank you for the awesome video, and taking the time to come back and show it to us.  Much appreciated.

Donna, that is one sweet video, love it.  Your work is wonderful.  It looks like you have mastered circular blades as well as anyone I have seen.  Love the various steps you showed us in creating it.  Wonder if you could share the manufacturer of the corner nailer you use in the framing steps.  I have been trying to find a small one for my shot and everything i see is large and expensive so I resort to gluing and waiting and hoping they stay together.  Would love to find out more about the one you have.   Send me a message if you want.

thanks

  Donna,

an extremely nice piece. I have yet to watch your video buy I will for certain, very soon. Your work is first class. You obviously have been at it for awhile and perfection is on the top of you list.. Good luck in the contest.. if you don't win, know you had to be up against some other fabulous wood workers...

thanks all the project took about 30 to 40 hours, i lost track after awhile. I had to take it down to less than 10 minutes closer to 7 even better so ran most of it at x64. the blade is flying dutchman #4, framing equipment is Logan picture framing pro saw, i got the whole setup but they sale separately also( or they did several years ago when i got mine). the portrait is actually 20in x 30in and 22 1/2 by 32 1/2in with the frame. Frame is poplar with clear coat. Portrait is baltic birch with golden pecan stain. Birchbark your pattern was great for this and at that point dont think I could handle anymore detail lol. Also it's okay if i don't win i watch russell's show every saturday at 7pm central and just love to participate and chat with fellow woodworkers and learn extra stuff from featured guest speakers, I call saturday evening my fun time. Will let ya know how the contest turns out it ends the 31st october at midnight. contest extended till november 12th plenty of time for all to enter.

and make them a offer they can't refuse.

(Sorry for that , its just the south Jersey past coming out in me, it happens time to time.)

Seriously, a huge undertaking, and well done.
