Jim McDonald Posted November 2, 2016 Report Posted November 2, 2016 (edited) Again, these polls are not to start a big debate of what is better, just to see what people are thinking. I can't tell if I told this thing to make the votes visible. If not, I will post updates or delete and start over. Jim Edited November 2, 2016 by Jim McDonald Quote

Sparkey Posted November 2, 2016 Report Posted November 2, 2016 I vote FD. I use the new 3/0 spiral for most of what I do and haven't found anybody else that makes a good one. Quote
lawson56 Posted November 2, 2016 Report Posted November 2, 2016 I use FD mostly.but I do use Olson as well. Jim Finn 1 Quote

If so, right next to the Poll Title, there's a checkbox that says Make Public. That will show who voted. Unfortunately, you can't edit that part of the poll once it's been published. Quote
MTCowpoke22 Posted November 2, 2016 Report Posted November 2, 2016 I use olson because that's what the stores around here carry. Quote
Frank Pellow Posted November 2, 2016 Report Posted November 2, 2016 It's almost 50-50 for me between Olson and Flying Dutchman. But, the poll only lets me choose one. Since Olson was behind in the count when I voted, that's who I voted for. Quote
Gonzo Posted November 3, 2016 Report Posted November 3, 2016 I am a huge believer in Pegas modified geometry. They work great, especially when I am making the birdhouse ornaments. FD ultra reverse are a close second. Quote
kywoodmaster Posted November 3, 2016 Report Posted November 3, 2016 Mostly Olsen but also use some FD Quote

meflick Posted November 3, 2016 Report Posted November 3, 2016 I have just worked out what FD stands for. I never knew, honestly. :o You learn something new every day. Marg Sometimes making heads and tails of the acronyms people use can be daunting. I marked other - I am presently "trying" out different blades. Since I am doing primarily Intarsia work, and started with a Class with JGR and she is close to "local" for me - I have been primarily using the blades she sells. They are Platinum Plus and Tough Little Blades. I have recently purchased some FD and Olsens to give those a try as well since everyone here seems to really like those two brands. Quote
Mark SW Posted November 3, 2016 Report Posted November 3, 2016 I started scrolling about a year ago and tried first Olson then Pegas and then Flying Dutchman which I setteled on using. Mark Quote
amazingkevin Posted November 3, 2016 Report Posted November 3, 2016 Mike's-FD-Flying Dutchmans very good steel stays sharp and out performs other blades i've used. The wear out before they break.I've cut easily 3 hours with the spirals and scroll reverse blades from him.Proud to vote for FD blades.
