dgman Posted November 10, 2016 Report Posted November 10, 2016 I have a customer who wants three photographs that he wants cut into puzzles. Unfortunately, he has already glued the photos to very thin Masonite just under 1/8". I want to laminate that to 1/8" or 1/4" Baltic Birch plywood for durability and strength. I would use Titebond III. Does anybody see a problem with that? Quote

Lucky2 Posted November 10, 2016 Report Posted November 10, 2016 Dan, any tite-bond carpenters glue would work, it's what I'd use. Len Quote

WayneMahler Posted November 11, 2016 Report Posted November 11, 2016 I would think that contact cement should work very well. Lucky2 1 Quote
orangeman Posted November 11, 2016 Report Posted November 11, 2016 Tite bond III should work very well as it holds like epoxy! bb dgman 1 Quote
NC Scroller Posted November 12, 2016 Report Posted November 12, 2016 Any of the Titebond glues with work. The secret is to apply a thin even layer of glue to both sides. I use a trim roller covered with a piece of foam pipe insulation. dgman 1 Quote

dgman Posted November 13, 2016 Author Report Posted November 13, 2016 Thanks all. Didn't have contact cement. I used Titebond III because that's what I had on hand. Seems to have done the job! Quote
hawkeye10 Posted November 13, 2016 Report Posted November 13, 2016 For what you are doing just use the glue you have on hand. It doesn't take much of a glue to do what you want as I understand it. Quote
