Ed asked about burning. This was not Baltic Birch plywood, but something from Lowes. I had no problems cutting, except for the voids. I had to try the tree my way ,unfinished it doesn't have the look i was looking for ,but when i get a chance to make a mess with coatings i'll post it,thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

There were several voids, but I think the plywood adds to the look. The patterns are by the late Dirk Boelman and found in CWWC Holiday 2013. I used FD UR #5 blades and the finish is 50% BLO. Comments welcome. Thanks Denny for the pictures and telling how you made them. That helps people like me. I always enjoy looking at your cuttings.
