The pattern is by Casey Jourdan, I made this Saturday before I decided the second saw had to go back. I made this for one of the cashiers at our local Albies, anyway I've decided to give these away to anyone I know who is a survivor and if and when I get a new saw I'm gonna try and make a bunch and donate them to our our local cancer centerpost-30125-0-87109600-1479770649_thumb.jpg

That's a beautiful piece and a beautiful thing your going to do with them. I'm sure they well be received with open hands and hearts.my mother is a survivor and I know how she feels when receiving something like this. Thanks for sharing

sounds like your going to have a very long list of survivors to make for.

Excellent work and I am sure appreciated by the recipient. Your willingness to take this on as "pay it forward" mission is commendable.  I know that many will be honored and humbled by receiving your work.  Thanks for sharing.  I like the idea of somehow incorporating the "color" to denote the type of cancer if you can easily do so.  Thanks for sharing.
