hawkeye10 Posted November 26, 2016 Report Posted November 26, 2016 You are so gifted and I am so jealous. Good luck with your first show. I know it will not be the last. Quote
meflick Posted November 26, 2016 Report Posted November 26, 2016 Beautiful and stunning work. I love the Intarsia pieces and know how much time and effort goes into one piece, to have built up that supply - well - hats off to you my friend. Looks like you did your research well and more excellent tips and advise have been given to you here. Thanks to everyone who shared that info. - good for all of us to see and learn from. I look forward to hearing how your show goes. Best of luck with it and hope you sell out! Quote
trailfndr Posted December 3, 2016 Author Report Posted December 3, 2016 Well, the sale was today, and thanks to advise from many of you, and a lot of encouragement, I did remarkably well. I sold 19 pieces between $45.00 and $250.00 for a total of $1600.00 in sales. Now I have to get myself back into the shop and build so I can do the next show in the spring. I was totally amazed at the response I received. I would have never believed that a craft show could produce that kind of result. I always figured that a Craft show brought in low dollar spenders, and the Art shows brought the bigger spenders. I am happy to have been proven wrong. Quote
Rob Posted December 4, 2016 Report Posted December 4, 2016 Congratulations Lee but how anything of yours sells for only $45 I'll never know. I know it's tough valuing your own work but I reckon you could up your prices a bit. Rob Quote
wombatie Posted December 4, 2016 Report Posted December 4, 2016 Congratulations Lee, I had no doubt in you doing well. Your work is the absolute best quality, it had to sell well. Marg Quote
