Jerry, any oil type of finish would work. In the past, I've used BLO, Danish oil, Mineral oil, and a couple of them had Walnut oil on them. You want to use an oil that soaks in, and one that seems dry to the touch. You want them dry to the touch, so that they don't affect any table cloths or the finish of what they will be set on.
