I considered using one of these pumps so I went to the pet department at PetSmart and found many different ones there.  I had the sales person run the biggest one for me and it only gave out a whisper of air.  Not enough at all.  I then got an $8 hair dryer and mounted it to blow cool air on my saw blade and it has worked well now for well over a year.

What a great idea Jim. Thanks

Jim, what do you do to contend with the noise the hair dryer makes? I hate the sound of hair dryers, so much so, that I leave the house when one is being used here. Even if I didn't mind the sound so much, I still don't think I would like the extra noise while sawing.

When I had my Craftsman Saw, I went to Walmart and bought a aquarium bubbler pump. It had 2 ports and got a "Y" connector at Lowes.  Actually tie strapped it to the saw and I bought an articulating nozzle from sears parts for a later model scroll saw.
