Fretwork models/buildings

Hi,

 

Not sure if I am meant to ask this here, but after much googling and spending 22euro on a single plan I am just wondering if there is a book or somewhere I can get plans for fretwork where you build models on buildings, vehicles, etc. I particularly like churches, iconic buildings, etc.

closest i know of is clocks that are 5' tall.Really quite impressive to see.

Bill, did you do a Google search for what your looking for? There's lots of places that have the types of patterns your looking for, some of the patterns are even free. I don't have the address, but there's a fellow that goes by Pedro and he has an amazing amount of patterns available. A lot of them are free, and the others aren't all that expensive. I wish I could direct you directly to his site, but I'm not sure of his address. Hopefully, one of the other members will know who I'm talking about, and will post Pedro's address for you.

The plan is awesome that I got from Pedro, no complaints, just a bit pricey in my opinion.

Hey there,

went to the site to check it out.   My eyes are still bleeding just looking at those  patterns.....I can't even imagine

trying to cut one.   The old saying one hole at a time doesn't seem to cover it......

Outstanding is a understatement.  

Thanks for sharing.....Did he say he did that one building with a hand saw?  My hat is off to him..

Yes Larry, that's the site I was talking about, there's enough patterns there to last a person a lifetime.

the wooden teddy bear has scroll saw clock patterns from wildwood designs. they have an Eiffel tower plan,york minster cathedral, and quite a few others.

He does indeed have one heck of a site. The patterns I looked at were older, but still very intriguing and something that has piqued my interest. Just wish you could get people to pay what all that work is worth. Picked a few I MAY do if nothing else for myself.

Check Berry Basket. They have some nice plans and I downloaded a three pack of clock plans for very little outlay of funds. And yes, doing Pedro's or any of these fancy plans is not a money making proposition. You just got to love doing it.
