rjR
Just been too busy on a million little things to get much cutting done. This was developed accidentally; random cut that ended up looking like a hippo --just making an opener for stock. Noticed what it did look like. I then got a few other opinions and they agreed with no prompting that it did look like a hippo; so then I actually tweaked it with tail and feet. About 1/2 inch wide and 5 inches long and about 1-1/2 inches tall. Made from an unknown hard wood. Kind of fun and the testing is also fun. I add a leather loop for convenience of storage/handling. Dan
Neat idea! If you need a product tester please send my way, with a few bottles to test it on.
Scrolling Steve
Looks good, but like Dan, I would have to test it myself.
rjR
Bring the beer; WE can make and test a few of them! Oregon has a lot(TOO MANY) excellent breweries. Some only a few miles away1

lonewolf
Just thinking, attach a piece of metal in the mouth so that you'd have less chance of breaking it.
meflick
Isn't it great when something like that just falls into your lap. Looks great - paint them purple and you've got those "purple hippos" just like the song. Thanks for sharing.
