Popular Post dgman Posted December 12, 2016 Popular Post Report Posted December 12, 2016 This is on a shelf on the middle landing of our staircase. Handmade ornaments from exchanges I have done over the years from folks from all over the world. I can't keep track of all the makers, so if you see something you made, feel free to take credit. I actually have more than I can fit on this tree! Birchbark, amazingkevin, 125 CSL and 11 others 14 Quote

wombatie Posted December 12, 2016 Report Posted December 12, 2016 Beautiful. Did you make the angel at the top of the tree or was that also an exchange? Marg dgman 1 Quote

hawkeye10 Posted December 12, 2016 Report Posted December 12, 2016 Dan that exchange is a great idea and I know it means a lot to you. Do you know how many years you have been doing this? Also do you know if the people you exchange with exchange with others? WayneMahler and dgman 2 Quote

meflick Posted December 12, 2016 Report Posted December 12, 2016 Beautiful tree, with lots of excellent craftsmanship shown there. Extra special for sure. You're going to need to get a bigger tree so you can show off everything you have received over the years. I hope they are well marked as to who the maker was. Thanks for sharing. dgman 1 Quote
Lucky2 Posted December 13, 2016 Report Posted December 13, 2016 Dan, that sure is a beautiful little tree, you must have been exchanging ornaments for years. Thanks for sharing your exchange tree with us, it is beautiful. Len dgman 1 Quote
WayneMahler Posted December 13, 2016 Report Posted December 13, 2016 This is absolutely beautiful tree. Love the idea behind it, makes it all that much more special. What a great idea and exchange program. Maybe something we should do here at the village dgman 1 Quote
dgman Posted December 13, 2016 Author Report Posted December 13, 2016 Thanks everyone! I was an original member of an other forum that started the ornament exchange. Although I no longer participate there, I still exchange with others. Members that I knew from that forum include, but not limited to include Marg, Danny, Rob Roy, Merlin, Kefie, JT the Clockman, Newfie and Marmoh. There are many others that aren't coming to mind. It's true I need a bigger tree, I just don't have the room! Montserrat 1 Quote

I got sick and then family issues came up 3 years ago and I just got back to my shop this past summer. I was glad I found this site once again because it is probably the most active and i too remember members here. Edited December 14, 2016 by JTTHECLOCKMAN dgman 1 Quote

Fish Posted December 17, 2016 Report Posted December 17, 2016 Beautiful tree. My family trades ornaments each year but it's an ugly ornament trade. I don't put them in the tree we hide them. dgman 1 Quote
