BeerBrewer
I just joined the community today! I found the so site jammed packed with great info and ideas that I had to join. I live in Suffolk County on Long Island. As for scrolling, I've been using a scroll on and off my whole life, but I still consider myself a beginner. I started as a child using a very basic scroll saw doing small projects and wood carvings. It was the only power saw that my parents allowed me to use unsupervised. I now own an old two speed 16" Dermel (that I'd like to replace) and I enjoy doing Intarsia work. Now that I have more time on my hands I'm looking to get more into scrollwork. I'm extremely impressed with the web site....very! Happy Holidays! lawson56, Birchbark and Phantom Scroller
munzieb
Welcome Aboard! Used to spend a fair amount of time on "the Island" when I lived in the area. A whole lot of great info on this site and lots of good insight if you are looking to upgrade your scroll saw. Post some pictures and keep making saw dust. heppnerguy
I too want to welcome you to The Village and inform you that IF you take the time to comment on others posts and take time to make your own posts, you will quite quickly become very relaxed here and soon understand that you now have a whole giant family of caring people who love to share their talents with one another. Your list of friends will grow rapidly and even should you not have the opportunity to personally meet very many of us, you WILL feel like we have all been close friends forever. Take time to look everywhere on this sight and help yourself to any patterns in our pattern library, that you may enjoy.
