What is your favorite tool in your shop?

Mine is actually my computer! I really enjoy making patterns for my puzzles and customers.

mines my computer also.i spend more time on it than i should.my wife says she going to put a dress on it and let me marry it lol.if she only knew the comments i made from that remark lmao.2nd favorite is my scroll saw.

My absolute favorite is my fridge and my radio. If those are not considered tools I guess it is a toss up between my scroll saw and my lathe.

You mean I have to pick one? This is hard, not only do I scroll but I build furniture as well...hhhhmmmmm. I guess I will actually have to go with one of the smallest tools in my shop and that would be my dremel. It seems like almost every project I do I am reaching for that little tool to do something.

Hmmm....that's a good one. My table saw is the most used and I'd be lost without it. But, it's also the least fun. So if I was to pick one other than my scroll saw, I guess it would be my lathe. That's a lot of fun too...and makes a lovely mess.

I guess my next favorite would be my Carvewright. Then my three scrollsaws.

Other than my scroll saw, I too would have to say my dremel. It has the widest range of uses of any tool I own. next choice would be my router/router table.

The Scroll Saw is my favorite. My 1 inch belt sander is the best purchase I made to go with it. It has made scrolling so much more enjoyable. If I had room I'm sure a 4 or 6 in. belt sander would become a favorite in no time.......Gary

For me its a toss up between band saw and scroll saw and that is subject to change as more tools are added.Just picked up an electric plane great for shaping a pice of fire wood into a blank for scrolling.

My most useful tool has to be my Swiss Army Champ XLT knife,I have managed to use all 50 functions at one time or another.Its like having a tool box on your belt.
