hawkeye10
I am cutting a dog puzzle so do I need to change blades to cut the veining cuts? Does the veining cut need to be narrower or wider? I am using a FD UR #5 blade. This is my first puzzle.
ike
I use the same as cutting the pattern with. I have seen to use a #2 but I don't want to change blades when It's not necessary IKE. WayneMahler and tomsteve
Dan
I agree with Ike. You can cut the veining whatever size you want. To me, thin veins in these puzzles don't show up that well. I also have been using a #5. If you prefer the thinner veins, just drill the proper size hole for the blade you want to use. Remember, these patterns are just a guide. dgman
I agree with Ike and Dan however I use an FD UR 3 blade for stand up puzzles. It make for a narrower kerf so the puzzles stays together better. tomsteve
amazingkevin
I don't bother to change blades ,less work for me and nobody's the wiser!
Lucky2
Don, for me, it all depends on how it's going to look. If it looks as if it will be an improvement, then I'll change the blade. If it looks like it won't make a difference, then I don't bother changing blades. Len

Iguanadon
I use a #3 blade for everything. I'm too lazy to swap out blades.
