JimErn
Jim.Amazon has all of those hoses and fittings.Just search for Lock Line Thanks Tony now that I know what to search for, I'll get on it. Edit. Found it, the line we have is 1/4" correct? Edited December 21, 2016 by JimErn
hawkeye10
Out of everything we know about the saw, that is the best news of all -------Randy If it's true. I may be wrong but it's hard to believe it will be cheaper. People are jumping up and down to by the EX at the asking price so why would they sell a model with more goodies for less? Of coarse I have been wrong before. I know, I know it's hard to believe.
Frank Pellow
Don (haweye10), I see no reason that Ray would say the saw would likely be a little bit cheaper if he did not believe that to be true. As to the reason that Ray would sell the ST-21 for a little less than the EX-21, perhaps he is being altruistic. More likely, he is setting such a price to make Seyco very competitive with other EX-21 clones and spin-offs. orangeman
Looks impressive! I sent a note to Ray asking about price and whether Woodcraft would carry. I'll let you know what I hear.

I doubt that Brian. I'm sure that if Woodcraft had a branded saw, Seyco wouldn't sell it.
Frank Pellow
Brian, why would Woodcraft carry a Seyco branded saw? I doubt that would be good for either Woodcraft or Seyco. More to the point, why would you want to purchase it from Woodcraft rather than Seyco? Oh yes, another thing Brian -we have already heard from Ray at Seyco and his answer is in a post in this thread. Woodcraft carried the Excalibur. I would buy the new saw from my local woodcraft store rather than have it shipped from Seyco. I have had 2 saws shipped via UPS (Hawk and Hegner) and never again. The Hawk had to be returned (at my expense) because of excessive vibration and I should have returned the Hegner for a multitude of reasons. I will only buy from a local source. Been burned too often in the past. Also, I would be able to test drive the saw at my local Woodcraft store which is very important to me. Frank Pellow
Brian, OK those sound like good reasons to buy from a nearby Woodcraft. Maybe they will get their own Excalibur clone. Edited December 21, 2016 by Frank Pellow
hotshot
I had posted a question using the feedback form, but was surprised to get an actual call from Ray. It sounds like most of the internals of the new saw (head, clamps, rods) should be parts compatible with the older saws. Ray indicated that the table was not. Once these saws are out in the wild, it would be interesting to see how deep the changes actually go. You can see from the picture they changed the base, so I'm betting the new base would connect to the old core, thus allowing the new table and such. Who knows. Hopefully, someone on the forum that is adventurous/curious will buy one and dig in. ----------Randy
Frank Pellow
I wonder about the larger table and, in particular, the much longer distance from the front of the table to the blade. As part of my large 'Tap Dancing in the Rain' piece (see: http://www.scrollsawvillage.com/topic/17682-tap-dancing-in-the-rain-completed),I made a replacement table top for my older EX-30 saw and that table worked well. But, I quickly reverted to the original table top when I resumed work on smaller pieces. The smaller table just seems more comfortable to me. stoney
Just curious as to where the Seyco saw is built does anyone know at this point?
