Newbie: My First Go At Scrolling

I am an ex kitchen fitter having to give up early due to back issues I needed something to do to not go stir crazy so thought I would give this a go and am quite enjoying it at the moment. I thought I would put a few pics up of what I have done so far and open myself up to see what the more experienced scrollers on here say about my efforts so far. I have only been having a go for around 6 weeks so far and am learning watching videos reading forums etc etc getting as much info as I can to help me along the way. Any comments welcomed good or bad its all a learning curve for me and will all be taken on board.

P.S. I have no idea why the pictures uploaded sideways lol some things are way past me uploading of pictures is one of them :)

I can see that you have really been bitten by the scroll bug. It probably amazed you when you found out what you were able to do with a scroll saw and a piece of wood. Your work is well done and I expect you will be busy all year making gifts for weddings, graduations and and birthdays. Looks like you are well on your way to achieving whatever you decide to do.  I am with you with not wanting to set around and do nothing. Keep up the good work and make sure the number one thing you keep doing is having fun...

Welcome to the Village Frank! You are off to a great start with some nice work!

Did you take the pictures with a smart phone or iPad? The software on this forum and others will automatically post pictures in the orientation it was taken. On a iPhone the shutter button is on the right side of the screen. If you take the picture with the button on the left, it will be upside down. If you take the picture with the button on the bottom or top, it will be sideways.

You can edit your pictures in a photo editing program to rotate them properly.

Thanks for the info on the pictures they where taken via my samsung android phone I shall check the folder and rotate if needed before posting anymore to stop the neck strain looking at them :)

Thank you for all your kind comments it is nice to hear I am on the right track it is always easy to look at your own creations and think yea that`s ok but to have it confirmed by others with more experience is a great feeling and motivation to keep practising and learning thanks again. Great sites like this help newcomers I used this site for reference from type of saw to blades to patterns and next GULP making my own portrait patterns which of course has lessons on this great site to refer to.  :)
