redwine
Have any of the scrollers here that order products from The Wooden Teddy Bear noticed that they have moved their operations out of Portland Oregon to a very small town, Spirit Lake, ID up close to the Canadian border? I went to the separate site they still have for the FD blades and there was a notice that the office would not be open until Jan. 2nd due to inclement weather slowing down the move. The address is also on the new catalog just received. Just wondering why the move to that part of the world. Erv

Sparkey
Northern Idaho is not a cheap place to live. I spent a month in Sandpoint Idaho but it is a tourist town so it might be expensive because of that. I know they do get a lot of snow up there so I hope it doesn't affect their shipping too much. ike
as long as it doesn't bother their shipping, the only other catalogue sales is scroller and they don't cary as good verity IKE.
Lucky2
It makes no difference to me where they're set up, all that matters is that they keep the business operating smoothly. Len tomsteve and SCROLLSAW703

Gonzo
I have not been to all 50 states but, Idaho, in my opinion, is a very beautiful state. But then, every state I've been in is beautiful. NC Scroller
redwine
I have been in that part of Idaho in the summer time to pick up a load of "Hops" that went to the brewer of Michelob beer. This particular farm was just about 1 mile from the border and as stated Idaho is a beautiful state and they do receive a lot of snow in that area. There has to be a good reason to move and hope it works out for them. Erv
Denny Knappen
I also just got the catalog and starting my wish list.
Sparkey
The company I used to work for was in Sandpoint ID. They closed the warehouse there because we could ship faster to the West coast from West Virginia than they could. Especially in the winter. GrampaJim
I just looked at their older (Summer/Fall 2016) catalog and the address is Spirit Lake, ID. also. This move is probably not new? amazingkevin
