Popular Post Dave Monk Posted January 3, 2017 Popular Post Report Posted January 3, 2017 A lady ordered this plaque to give her husband at a supprise party she is having for her husband. The little lettering was sure a challenge for me. I also made one more strip with another degree on it that he hopes to complete in 2018. It took 20 emails back and forth before I came up with acceptable artwork. dave 125 CSL, Smudger, hotshot and 14 others 17 Quote

Yours skills are amazing, especially considering the short time you have been scrolling..Some have it and develop it while others have it and are afraid to push the envelope.. Rolf Posted January 3, 2017 Report Posted January 3, 2017 Really nice! Text has to be cut precisely for it to look good, and you certainly did that. Love the tree design. What are the dimensions? Quote

Dave Monk Posted January 4, 2017 Author Report Posted January 4, 2017 Thank you so much for all the nice comments. The main plaque measures 18" x 12". The strips measure 1 1/4". I used red oak with a Minwax Special Walnut stain. Seems like a lot of people I do projects for like this combination. Suites me because I just bought some red oak and only had to pay $1.99 a board foot. dave Quote
