worbler Posted January 3, 2017 Report Posted January 3, 2017 I have just joined the forum and am saying Hello. I have been scrolling for about 10 years now and still enjoy it. I don't have any preferred style when it comes to scrolling. I'll either do Segmentation or Fret, I have never actually tried proper Intarsia as Segmentation is much easier and less time consuming. I have also dabbled in a bit of pattern designing and now mainly use Paint.net for anything I do. Mainly because it is as good as Photoshop and totally free. I currently use a simple entry level Scroll Saw, an Ozito brand actually, it does the job. lawson56 1 Quote

worbler Posted January 6, 2017 Author Report Posted January 6, 2017 Thank you everyone, I'm sure I will enjoy the site. I was a member of AFSP all them years ago and started designing back then. I reckon I've got better at it since then. I do tend to visit the site quite a bit, especially when I've got nothing better to do, even if I'm at work. Ain't nothing wrong with a bit of freedom when you're supposed to be working. I also enjoy a bit of a challenge when it comes to patternising a picture, although I'll draw the line when it looks super difficult. I'll upload some pics in the near future of some of the more recent stuff I have been doing. I mainly only do stuff for myself or friends that ask me to do it. Quote
