This is not the Hawk G4, so it is bottom feed only.

Thanks Randy. You may have saved me a drive. I think it is a good buy but I'm not in the market yet, just thought I'd look into it.

Randy is right..The G4 series till now changed the bottom clamp and moved it up in front of the table angle adjustment for easy access and as Randy said made the saw a top and bottom feeder.

Before you get any ideas I have already spoken at lenght to the good folks that now make the Hawk.  There is no way to convert these older units to make them top feeders like the G-4.

Thanks for checking on that Scott. even if there were it would take too many parts, not cost effective. I used the new Hawks at the Open House and they are sweet machines.

I don't have the $350, but did live in Moraine for about 3 years way back when the Fridgidaire plant was still in operation.

We were the "rich kids" or so it was perceived back then when Miami Shores was basically swamp land. We lived up on the hill in 'German Village' when living in any sort of new house was thought of as rich and the mayor ran the gas station across from city hall.. Ahh..the good old days.
