This is from the Judy & Dave Peterson book I bought. If you like to cut puzzles they have a lot of patterns you will like. This is made of red oak and cut with a number 7 blade. They recommend a number 7 or 9 blade. I have been cutting others with a number 3. The finish is Watco Danish oil. Thanks for looking.

Well done, Don.  I use FD Polar #5 on my 3/4" puzzles.  It seems the pieces fit together better.

I really noticed a difference on the back of the neck on this dog. In my opinion the gap is to big. I do like the thicker blade when cutting the toes and mouth and other things like that.

On veining, I also use a larger blade something like a FD Polar #7
