Denny Knappen Posted January 10, 2017 Report Posted January 10, 2017 I made this over the weekend and as I mentioned, I had to move the scroll saw into the house. The pattern is by Jacob Fowler and found in SWWC issue #65. I used 1/4" Walnut plywood and backed with 3/8" Baltic Birch plywood. The blades were FD UR #2/0 and #3. Ther is one coat of 50% BLO and two coats spray Shellac. Comments welcome. Lucky2 and lawson56 2 Quote

Dave Monk Posted January 11, 2017 Report Posted January 11, 2017 Nice job Denny! The Birch and walnut look great together. I always run the grain in the same direction...........usually length wise. By alternating it you gave it a different look. dave Quote

heppnerguy Posted January 11, 2017 Report Posted January 11, 2017 Marge beat me to it. I was going to say the same thing because I don't wish to write all that over again, I am going to shorten it up and give you a shorter rendition that will keep you have ping to read the same thing over and over again so instead I will make a one word comment that says exactly the same thing. " ditto" Sorry it is late and I was feeling a little silly Dick heppnerguy Quote
