I like it all, but I tend to gravitate to people portraits. Mostly of recognizable people. Old actors and actresses of the silver screen is a lot of fun. I also like simple toys and puzzles. Those are a lot of fun to make.

I haven't cut enough to have a preference yet. However I really love the look of the animal portraits I've seen as well as the functional patterns.............shelves, boxes, etc... So I'm probably going to be more inclined towards those kinds of cuttings. Great thread Clayton!

Hi,

I very much like wordart stuff, mainly with religious themes, and all plant-like motifs.

 

What I'd love to venture in is something more into Abstract or Cubist art for scroll saw. That would definitely promote Scroll sawing. Wouldn't it?

You should see some of Chrestensen Burghout Designs. They have a lot of great abstractions and cubist style segmentations. Very cool stuff. I really like their dragon line.
