Dave M
Just wondering if anyone that owns a Craftsman has made any changes to the machine? I keep thinking of trying to make an adaptor for the blade lock, at least on top.
Travis
Mine came with a thumbscrew to tighten the blade clamp. My understanding the new ones don't have them. I'd imagine you'd be able to find a replacement with a thumbscrew at a hardware store or machine shop.
Christo
I have a 16" Craftsman/vs saw with the thumb screw and I love it compared to an allen key blade change, which I was weened on. However, I did replace the bellows with an aquarium air pump, to clear the dust from the line, works much better. When I get a chance I'll take a few pics. mouse
I changed the Allen bolt on the top clamp on my SIP for an indexable lever made a huge difference
