Dan
Yes I get the email too. They have some neat videos but I can get most of the tips and info from YouTube. They must have bought my email address from someone I did business with.
dgman
Yes, a few years back they sent me a DVD to try for free, send it back if you don't want it the letter said. I did not order it so I felt I shouldn't have to do anything. After some nasty letters from them, I wrote back that since I did not order it, I should not be responsible to do anything. I never heard from them again. Still have the DVD, never watched it. Jim Finn
JTTHECLOCKMAN
What is the woodworkers guild?/ I know there is a penmakers guild but that is where the elite pen makers enter piece of work for scrutiny and validation of excellence in the eyes of a certain few so that you are admitted into a guild. You then can boast that you are a member of that guild. Is this the same thing?? I believe turners have a guild also.
Rockytime
I get their emails also. I just delete them as I can hardly be considered a woodworker. Perhaps a butcher. Rob

Like I said above, they sent me a woodworking DVD to try. If I didn't like it, send it back. Well I didn't send it back or pay for it since I didn't order it! If i want a book or dvd I go to amazon or a woodworking store and buy what I need.

Rolf
I think my questions have been answered. A friend sent me this link it reinforces what Dan said above. http://toolguyd.com/woodworkers-guild-of-america-woodcraft-dvd/ I think I will pass on their never ending offers and relegate them to my spam folder.
