Denny Knappen
This is one of five patterns by Sue Mey found in SWWC Spring 2017 issue #66. I cut this from Northern White Cedar. It is four compound cut pieces glued together to make one piece. It is approximately 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" x 4 1/2". I used FD Polar #9 blades, one coat 50% BLO and one coat spray Polyurethane. All I need now is an Air Plant. Comments welcome. Phantom Scroller, MTCowpoke22, lawson56 and 3 others

Scrappile
Glad you posted this. I did the Hamsa box from that issue and the plant holders were the other item I have been eyeing. You did a great job and have made me more sure I want to try them in the near future.
Denny Knappen
Thanks, Paul. Each piece needs to be 1 7/8" square and however long, so be sure and use a fairly soft wood. I had to do some sanding to get them to line up.

rdatelle
Denny, that came out great. I saw those patterns on Sue Meys site. Almost got them. I was going to make them for Xmas. I didn't know you had to cut 4 pieces and glue them together. I think Amazon had some deals on air plants.
