RangerJay Posted February 5, 2017 Report Posted February 5, 2017 Anyone else have a conflict between the need to finish up a project and watch the Super Bowl at the same time?? I am lucky enough to be at the stage of this project where I am able to bring the finished pieces in for waxing, set myself up in front of the fireplace, turn on the Super Bowl - strategically place a number of suitable beverages (out of the picture) beside me ..... and look forward to chicken wings and dip to come ...... does it get any better??? ..... Dan Posted February 6, 2017 Report Posted February 6, 2017 I've seen a lot of super bowls here in the forum. I know Carol Rothman makes a lot of super bowls. But I can't see why anyone would just want to watch them. GrampaJim and lawson56 2 Quote

jbrowning Posted February 6, 2017 Report Posted February 6, 2017 Actually my decision was pretty easy. I have had an upper resp. infection for the last 2-3 weeks. So there is no wood working at the time for me. Hopefully in a week or two I can try it. Good game by the way. Jim Quote

wombatie Posted February 6, 2017 Report Posted February 6, 2017 My husband is 'watching' it for the first time this year. He is also ripping up the tiles in the kitchen at the same time. Every now and again his head pops up to see whats happening and then it pops down again.  Marg lawson56 1 Quote
RangerJay Posted February 6, 2017 Author Report Posted February 6, 2017 Holy Moly - quite a game - 'fraid the waxing effort pretty much disappeared once things started to get exciting in the second half ...... Jay Lucky2 1 Quote
